service in 1995 and is one of western North Carolina’s
oldest and largest Internet service providers. Dnet
provides its customers with email virus protection,
spam reduction and pornographic website filtering.
Dnet’s mission is to provide families, businesses
and schools with a safer Internet experience.
Having started as a regional ISP for North Carolina’s
westernmost counties, Dnet expanded its regional
access in 2001 and 2002 to include several additional
counties in northeast Georgia, upstate South Carolina,
and North Carolina (including Buncombe County).
In addition, Dnet offers local dial-up numbers
in thousands of cities nationwide. Dnet also provides
web design and web hosting services.
